It is impressive how mobile gaming has changed over the years. A couple of years back I wouldn't believe it if someone told me I'd be playing the likes of ***Fortnite***, ***PUBG*** or ***Grid Autosports*** on mobile devices.

And while we've already had a ton of fascinating console and PC titles make their way to mobile, you'd be amazed after seeing the upcoming console and PC games titles for mobile as they'll be introducing a breath of fresh air to the mobile gaming platform.

However, that's a whole new article. In this article we'll be listing the top 10 best console and PC games that have made their way to Android and iOS and became successful.

**10- Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons**

Developed by Starbreeze Studios and published by 505 Games, ***Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons*** is a thrilling adventure game where players must guide two brothers on a quest in order to find a special healing water from The Tree of Life and save their dying father.

***Brothers*** offers a breathtaking story that many might consider as one of the best storylines in a mobile game since its release.

The unique adventure sees you battling monsters, giants, cultists and shapeshifting witches along the way. Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons was the first game to bring co-operative single player mode to the mobile platform.

Co-operative mode feature in a video game that allows players to work together as teammates, usually against one or more non-player character opponents. Usually involves working together rather than in opposition.

Unlike other multiplayer modes such as competitive multiplayer, player versus player or deathmatch, playing co-op in Brothers allows you assist both characters in many ways at the same time by grabbing items, passing weapons, providing cover, completing puzzles and overcoming obstacles.

The game was first launched for iOS devices on October 21st, 2015 and was launched for android devices on 24th May, 2016\. You can grab the game from the [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/brothers-a-tale-of-two-sons/id1029588869?ref=thenaijanerds.com) and [Play Store](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.and.games505.brothers&ref=thenaijanerds.com).

**9- Life is Strange**

Developed by Dontnod Entertainment and published by Square Enix, ***Life is Strange*** is a masterpiece that mobile players will revisit over and over again due to its sheer brilliance.

The game puts you in control of Max Caulfield, a teenager who discovers she can rewind time and alter the past, present and future events that happen around her.

The developers aimed to revolutionize story-based choice and consequence games with ***Life is Strange*** and they were successful as every choice you make will impact how the story will end.

The game offers a variety of modes that are similar to its console and PC counterparts which includes modes like Associations, MyCareer, NBA Stories, multiplayer and an all new Run the Streets mode.

**6- Pascal's Wager**

Developed by TipsWorks and published by Giant Games, ***Pascal's Wager*** first made its way to iOS devices in early january 2020 before launching on Android devices in June of the same year.

***Pascal's Wager*** is a challenging and gloomy RPG action-adventure game that takes place in the dark and monster infested world of Terrence (the protagonist) who was banished by his church for transgressions.

To better describe the character, imagine taking Geralt of Rivia from ***The Witcher*** and lifting him from the horrors of Gwent and throwing him into an even darker, more hostile world that is influenced by dark creatures.

Offering up to 20 hours of gameplay without asking players to purchase anything, there's a lot to admire in ***Pascal's Wager.*** And while the game displays a lot of ambition, some players might accuse it of borrowing a lot from ***Dark Souls*** on console.

Pascal's Wager is available on the [Play Store](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tipsworks.android.pascalswager.google&ref=thenaijanerds.com) and [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pascals-wager/id1476649036?ref=thenaijanerds.com).

**5- Genshin Impact**

Developed and published by MiHoYo, ***Genshin Impact*** was arguably the most anticipated mobile game of 2020 and after its hugely successful launch, it's safe to say that it was worth the wait.

The game offers incredible visuals, stunning graphics and a massive open world that allows players to visit gorgeous locations, climb mountains, swim across rivers and glide over the world while taking in the breathtaking scenery along the way.

After racing past 17 million downloads in its first 4 days, ***Genshin Impact*** went on to generate over $1 billion in less than six months after its release on mobile making it one of the most successful games to ever hit the mobile platform.

Taking up more than 6gb of storage space, ***Genshin Impact*** is free to download from the [Play Store](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.miHoYo.GenshinImpact&ref=thenaijanerds.com) and [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/genshin-impact/id1517783697?ref=thenaijanerds.com).

**4- GRID Autosports**

Can triple-A console gaming actually be ported to mobile and work well? Yes, and ***Grid Autosports*** is the proof.

***Grid Autosports*** is a single-player racer developed by Codemasters and published by Feral Interactive. After being a massive success on PC, ***Grid Autosports*** was launched on mobile devices and became the most graphically advanced racer on the platform.

In ***Grid Autosports*** it's all about the teams, the rivals and the intense races that take place in a new world of professional motorsport and satisfy team sponsors by winning ferocious races with the best cars.

Players will experience the roars of the crowd and the squeal of big, fat and slick tyres over the smooth asphalt where every slight turn or drift is reflected in the superb movement sensation, making you feel the GRID, not merely to influence it.

There is currently no modern day racer on a mobile gaming platform that quite captures the gorgeous idea and realism of driving a racing car like ***Grid Autosports***. Players are required to soar the skies and spread hope in order to try and return the stars of fallen spirits to their respective constellations. The game also offers several gorgeous locations that will captivate players on end.

***Sky: Children of the Light*** is available to download from the [Play Store](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tgc.sky.android&ref=thenaijanerds.com) and ***App Store***.

**2- Fortnite**

Developed and published by Epic Games, critics have often labelled ***Fortnite*** as the most influential video game of the last decade after it inspired a cultural phenomenon beyond that of any battle royal game worldwide.

In the ever growing video game industry, very few franchises grow large enough to compete and even fewer remain popular enough to survive more than a couple of years. ***Fortnite*** was able to surpass these milestones to become one of the most successful video games in history.

***Fortnite*** offers a 100-player PVP multiplayer mode where the last man standing is declared winner. However, the game offers lesser graphics and visuals on mobile compared to the console and PC versions unlike most console and PC ports where the visuals remain the same on all platforms.

Fortnite is currently unavailable to download from the App Store and Play Store but you can download it from the developers [official website](https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/mobile/android/get-started?ref=thenaijanerds.com).

**1- All Grand Theft Auto series**

Some of the foremost and most renowned console-PC ports to mobile are the GTA titles from Rockstar Games. Despite being around for a long time, games like ***GTA San Andreas*** and ***Vice City*** are often considered when discussing the best console-PC ports for mobile.

***GTA San Andreas*** made its way to mobile in 2013 where it didn't take long to become the best open world game for years.

Other well known titles such as ***GTA III***, ***GTA Liberty Stories***, ***GTA Chinatown Wars*** and ***GTA Vice City*** also became highly acclaimed titles on the mobile platform after launch.
