Lagos Life Adds Abuja and Port Harcourt as Players Pass 2.4m
The Sims-inspired title has also earned $46,900 in revenue in its first four days
Lagos Life has added Abuja and Port Harcourt, with the developer confirming both cities are now live in the browser game.
The expansion arrives as the social life simulation, built by Shalom Rayhamen, keeps drawing crowds. At the time of writing, 122,668 players were online and over 2.4 million players had joined in total.
The game has since logged more than 3.8m visits today and 22m all-time visits. The Sims-inspired title has also earned $46,900 in revenue in its first four days.
A virtual Lagos built for the browser
Lagos Life lets players meet, chat, explore and create their own experiences in a virtual Lagos, and it runs in a web browser. The game was inspired in part by The Sims 3 and Opeyemi Adeniran's Lagos Run.
The game shows how browser games can give Nigerian audiences accessible, locally inspired experiences.
