Steve Ditko: Artists, Writers and Movie Makers React to the Legendary Artist's Passing [UPDATED]

The Late Steve Ditko has been described as the JD Salinger of comic books. A reclusive man, he kept mostly to himself and sat out the publicity brought on by the successes of his creations.

He apparently had no surviving family and never married. But the legendary artist behind Spiderman, Doctor Octopus, Sandman, the Lizard, Green Goblin and even the Thanos-defeating Squirrel-Girl (yep, you read that right) has been remembered by the worldwide family of artists, writers, actors, movie directors and other creators inspired by his art.
